Direct Insurance Billing - Pay Only Your Deductible
We Handle Your Insurance Claim
Dealing with property damage is stressful enough. Let us manage the insurance paperwork, adjuster communication, and billing so you can focus on your family.
How the Insurance Process Works
We simplify the entire insurance claims process into four straightforward steps.
Document the Damage
We thoroughly document all damage with photos, moisture readings, thermal imaging, and detailed notes. This comprehensive documentation becomes the foundation of your insurance claim and ensures nothing is missed.
File Your Claim
We guide you through filing your claim with your insurance carrier. We provide all necessary documentation and can speak directly with your insurance company on your behalf to ensure the claim is filed correctly.
Work With Your Adjuster
Our team meets with your insurance adjuster on-site, walks them through the damage, and provides professional documentation including moisture logs and Xactimate estimates. We speak the same language as adjusters.
Direct Billing - You Pay Your Deductible
Once the claim is approved, we bill your insurance company directly. You pay only your deductible. No large out-of-pocket expenses, no surprise bills. We handle the financial coordination from start to finish.
Bottom Line: We Start Work Immediately
Emergency mitigation begins right away because your insurance expects you to prevent further damage. The claim process runs in parallel while your property is being restored.

Insurance Claims FAQ
Common questions about insurance coverage for water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation.
What does homeowners insurance typically cover for water damage?
Most homeowners insurance policies cover sudden and accidental water damage, such as burst pipes, appliance failures, and roof leaks from storms. Gradual damage from neglected maintenance or flooding from external sources (rivers, heavy rain) typically requires separate flood insurance. We help you understand your coverage and maximize your claim.
Does homeowners insurance cover flood damage?
Standard homeowners insurance does NOT cover flood damage. Flood damage from rising water, heavy rainfall, or overflowing rivers requires a separate flood insurance policy, typically through the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) or a private insurer. If you have flood insurance, we can help with your flood claim as well.
Will filing a water damage claim raise my insurance rates?
Filing a single claim for sudden water damage typically does not raise your rates significantly, especially with major carriers. Insurance companies generally understand that events like burst pipes or storm damage are not the homeowner's fault. Multiple claims within a short period are more likely to affect rates. We can discuss this concern before you file.
What if my insurance claim is denied?
If your claim is denied, you have options. First, request a written explanation of the denial. We can help by providing additional documentation, moisture readings, and photo evidence to support an appeal. You can also request a re-inspection by a different adjuster or consult with a public adjuster for an independent assessment.
How long does the insurance claim process take?
Most insurance claims for water damage are processed within 2-4 weeks from the time of filing. Emergency mitigation (water extraction, drying) begins immediately regardless of claim status because delays worsen damage. We start work right away and handle the documentation and billing with your insurer throughout the process.
Do I need to get multiple estimates before starting restoration?
No. With water damage, time is critical. You do not need multiple estimates before starting emergency mitigation. Your insurance company expects you to mitigate damage immediately to prevent it from worsening. We provide a detailed estimate that aligns with insurance industry pricing standards (Xactimate), which is what your adjuster uses.
Tips for a Successful Insurance Claim
Follow these guidelines to protect your claim and ensure a smooth process.
Document Everything Immediately
Take photos and videos of all damage before anything is moved or cleaned up. Include wide shots and close-ups. Document water lines, damaged items, and the source of damage if visible.
Call Your Insurance Company Promptly
Report the damage to your insurance carrier as soon as possible. Most policies require timely notification. We can help you with this call or make it on your behalf.
Do Not Throw Away Damaged Items
Keep all damaged materials until the adjuster has inspected them. If items must be removed for health reasons, photograph them thoroughly first and set them aside if possible.
Keep All Receipts
Save receipts for any emergency purchases (fans, wet vacuums, hotel stays if displaced). These costs are often covered by your policy under additional living expenses or emergency mitigation.
Start Mitigation Immediately
Your policy requires you to take reasonable steps to prevent further damage. Starting professional mitigation right away actually strengthens your claim.
Do Not Make Permanent Repairs Yet
Emergency mitigation is different from permanent repairs. Do not start reconstruction until your adjuster has inspected and approved the scope of work.
